Arrrrrgh!

I had about 2 gallons of deck paint left over.  Was originally going to do 2 coats, but then just got so tired of working on the deck that I declared it finished yesterday.  Not so fast, someone told me. . . .  You'd better give it that second coat.  Okay.  I took care of it in short order this morning.  It really was worthwhile to give it the second coat. . . . It looks a lot better.

Some more photos that I took yesterday in the backyard.  The crepe myrtle back near the shed is eye-popping colorful.  Neighbor Rocky, when I was showing him my deck handiwork even commented on how bright the colors on the crepe myrtle are.  Which reminds me, I have to return his mitre saw to him!
